Patrick studied medicine at Leicester University in the United Kingdom, graduating in 2003. Patrick initially trained as a paediatrician but changed to General Practice and attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2010. Patrick moved to Australia in 2012 where he was then granted fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General practitioners. Patrick moved from Perth to Southern Cross with his wife working as a Rural GP with an interest in Emergency Medicine. Patrick moved back to Perth in 2015 after his children were born. Patrick enjoys all aspects of General Practice, particularly pre-hospital emergency care as well as paediatrics.

Patrick's hobbies include motorbikes, photography and running around after his children.
